Sell prepaid packages (service packs)
A service pack is a prepaid bundle - a client buys, say, 10 walks up front, and each booking draws down a credit. Here's how to create one and how clients buy them.
The short version
- Open Service Packs in Settings.
- Create a pack: name it, pick the service, set the number of visits and the price.
- Save. Clients can buy it, and each booking uses a credit.
On your phone
- On the More tab, tap Settings, then Service Packs.
- Tap + New Pack.
- Fill in:
- Pack Name - for example, "10-Visit Walk Bundle".
- Applies To Service - which service the credits are for.
- # of Visits and Total Price - the bundle and what it costs.
- Optionally, a validity (days before it expires) and whether it's for all clients or assigned clients only.
- Tap Create Pack.
On the web
- In the left sidebar, open Service Packs.
- Click + New Service Pack, fill in the same details (name, service, credits, price, optional validity and availability), and click Create Pack.
What your client gets
Clients see your packs in their own Service Packs and can Buy one if you've turned on online payments (Stripe connected). Each pack shows the per-visit price and the savings. Once bought, credits are drawn down automatically as their bookings are completed - a per-pet service uses one credit per pet.
Good to know
- Selling online needs Stripe. Without online payments set up, clients can see a pack but can't check out - you'd arrange payment another way.
- Chester shows a live value preview as you build a pack, so you can see the per-visit price and discount before you save.
