Show your team how to get in, with photos

Last updated November 2026 · v1.0

A photo of the lockbox beats a paragraph about it. Each pet has a Getting in note plus photos, and two more photo sections, Gear and Feeding and medication. Whoever does the visit sees them on the visit screen, when the service shows that section.

The short version
  1. Open the client, then edit the client (phone) or the pet (web).
  2. Fill in Getting in and tap Add photo to add a picture with a short caption.
  3. Save, and your team sees it on visits where the service shows it.

On your phone

  1. On the Clients tab, open the client.
  2. Tap the ··· button at the top and choose Edit Client.
    • You need Manage client records to see Edit Client.
  3. On the pet's card, type the entry details under Getting in (a lockbox code, where the key is, the buzzer).
  4. Under the photo section you want, tap Add photo.
    • Choose Take a photo or Choose a photo, add a Caption (for example "Lockbox, left of the door"), and tap Save photo.
    • The photo saves as soon as you tap Save photo.
  5. Tap Save to keep the Getting in text.

On the web

  1. Open Clients and click the client.
  2. On the pet's card, click Edit.
  3. Under Access & contacts, fill in Getting in.
  4. Click Add photo beside the section, pick the file, add a Caption, and click Save photo.
  5. Click Save changes.

What your client gets

  • The main account holder can add their own photos from their pet's profile. You see them alongside yours.
  • These photos are only for you, team members who can see the client, the pet owner and the people in their household. They never appear in report cards or messages.

Good to know

  • Up to 6 photos per section. Remove one to add another.
  • Captions can be up to 80 characters.
  • A photo can be removed by the person who added it, the business owner or the pet owner.
  • When it shows on a visit depends on the service. Walks and sitting show Getting in by default. Grooming and training show it when the service happens at the pet owner's home.
  • Boarding and daycare show it only when the booking has a pick-up or drop-off at the home.
  • Change this with the Show on visits row in Booking rules. An empty section never shows.
  • Who sees it. Team members need the See how to get in permission to see the Getting in note and photos (on by default for every role).
  • Getting in used to be called "Home access". It's the same field.
