Manage pet profiles and health records

Last updated September 2026 · v1.0

Each pet has a profile with the details that keep visits safe and personal - breed and age, medications and feeding, vet contacts, temperament, and access notes. Here's how to fill it in.

The short version
  1. Open the client, then the pet.
  2. Add or edit the pet's details - identity, health, vet, and access.
  3. Save. Most details are visible to the client too.

On your phone

  1. On the Clients tab, open the client.
  2. Tap the ... menu and choose Edit Client, or tap + Add a pet.
  3. In the pet's card, fill in what you need:
    • Identity - name, species, breed, colour, age, weight, sex, neutered/spayed, microchip.
    • Health and medical - medical notes, medications, and feeding.
    • Vet and emergency contacts, temperament, and home-access notes.
  4. Save.

Vaccinations appear as their own rows on the pet - tap one to see its details and status.

On the web

  1. On Clients & Pets, open the client.
  2. In the Pets card, click Add pet (or the menu on a pet to Edit).
  3. Fill in the same details - identity, health and medical, vet, temperament, and access - and save.

Vaccination status shows on the pet card as Valid / Due / Expired / Missing.

Good to know

  • Most pet details are visible to the client, so keep private reminders in the provider-only note on the pet, not in the shared fields.
  • Vaccinations come from your intake documents and scans, not typed into the pet form - though you can edit the vet contact directly.
