Booking & Scheduling
See your schedule in Google or Apple Calendar
Your Chester visits can show up in the calendar you already use, next to your personal events. You add one private link to Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar, and it keeps itself up to date.
The short version
- Open Calendar Feed in your Settings.
- Add the link to your calendar app, or copy it and paste it in.
- Your visits appear and refresh on their own.
On your phone
- Tap the More tab, then Settings.
- Under Account, tap Calendar Feed.
- On an iPhone, tap Add to calendar and confirm the subscription.
- To use the link somewhere else, tap Share link and send it to yourself.
- On Android, Share link is the only button. Google and Outlook only add a subscription from a computer, so open the link there.
On the web
- In the left sidebar, click Settings.
- Under Account, click Calendar Feed.
- Click Add to Apple / Outlook or Add to Google Calendar, then confirm in your calendar.
- Google asks you to confirm once before it adds the calendar.
- Or click Copy under Or add the link manually and paste it into your calendar app.
- In Google Calendar: Other calendars, then +, then From URL.
What's in it
- Your own visits only. You see the bookings you made or that are assigned to you. It is not your whole team's schedule.
- Each visit shows the service, the client, the pets, the status and the address.
- It never shows client phone numbers, email addresses, notes or prices.
- Dates covered: the last 2 months through the next year. Cancelled visits drop off.
Good to know
- It's one-way. Moving or deleting a visit in Google or Apple Calendar doesn't change Chester. Change bookings in Chester.
- Updates aren't instant. Your calendar app checks the link on its own schedule, usually within a few hours, sometimes up to a day.
- Keep the link private. Anyone with it can see your visits, client names and addresses. There's no reset button, so if it leaks, contact support to reset it.
- Everyone gets their own link. Each team member opens Calendar Feed while signed in as themselves.
- Pro and Team plans include it. On the Free plan the screen is locked (on an iPhone the row is hidden), and a calendar you already added shows one event saying sync is a Pro feature. Your visits come back when you upgrade.
